I know there are tons of complaints against these diapers. But I must say to my children, were great diapers. We used pampers since my son was born. I was completely in love with Pee indicator used to put on swaddlers. I was angry when removed, and then found that the diapers are heavily scented. I felt as if they had just arrived from baby powder factory. When switching to a dry version of Max, I noticed the smell disappeared. I never had a loss of these children and my son is a super soaker. He never Diaper two. They are also thinner, so it fits more in the diaper bag, diapers, trolleys, drawer changing table, or what you are. My son will be a year now and we intend to use the first versions of these cruisers. They feel as soft as the original swaddlers to see how it can be troublesome for children with sensitive skin. My son has never had a problem with it.

A small issue I have with these are that they don’t seem to hold as much pee as the Cruisers, which is probably enough to cause me to look elsewhere. Especially considering that this new line is advertised as “Dry Max”. I’ll stick with my Huggies and Kirkland brands.

All of that is so unnatural to me. They do not hold pee well at all. They get very heavy and you really need to change more often as a result. They are also inferior night time diapers. My daughter would wake up and have leaked out every day for three days onto her sheet. I really hope these go away.

A good friend’s daughter was the perfect size for these (18 lbs) and she was thrilled to try them out. The Swaddlers fit perfectly, but the Cruisers were (as to be expected) a little big. After a few weeks of use, her reaction was lukewarm. Since the baby was starting to be a little more active, the Swaddlers were a little too constraining. She ended up only using them around bedtime. The Cruisers were, however, still a little big but she thinks once the baby grows into them, they will be great. I also think it’s adorable how the Swaddlers have pictures of baby Sesame Street characters, while the Cruisers show the characters a little more grown up. I would recommend the lower size Swaddlers, but once the baby starts to get more active, they may not be the best choice.

With the 3-year old we were loyal Pampers users, and rightfully so. The Swaddlers and later the Cruisers always worked well for us. They never leaked and were comfortable for my son (or at least he never cried and there was never any indication of discomfort). With our newborn, we’ve had to use the new Drymax diapers since, as numerous folks have pointed out, the old Swaddlers aren’t available any more. Unfortunately, these are much more prone to leakage. Not more than other brands, mind you, as the leakage prompted us to try CVS diapers and a much more expensive eco-diaper (I can’t recall the name). Neither could do better than the Pampers, and both were bulkier. So compared to other brands, the Drymax is still competitive. But in our minds it’s clearly inferior to the old Swaddlers.

Question by darthvi5or: What is the difference between Pampers Cruisers size 7 and Pampers Baby Dry size 6?
My son decided he wanted to be diapered again with the birth of his nephew. So I decided I’m going to go with the flow for a little and surely he will grow out of it after a while. Please don’t answer this question with negative answers. What is the difference between Pampers Cruisers size 7 and Pampers Baby Dry size 6? I have heard that they are actually about the same size and the Cruisers just say 7 instead of 6.

I don’t know what the difference is, but why not try a packet of both, or if you have any friends, why not borrow a few off them, and see what you think of them?

I DO know that loads of nappies are pretty much the same sort of size (for example, some size 6 and some size 7, are nearly exactly the same).

My baby is 8.5 months old, 23+ pounds, and growing like a weed. We’ve always used Pampers diapers on her, along with Huggies and other brands. For the Pampers, the only time we ever had blowouts was when we were careless when tighting the diaper. Otherwise, the diapers worked well at keep everything inside. She goes around 12 hours every night in a single diaper. By the morning time, the diaper is heavy as could be, but Pampers have never leaked. I give it 4 stars because in 8.5 months, two Pampers diapers have ripped open during the night. On the first occasion, the absorbent gel covered almost all of my baby’s belly. Scared me because initially I had no idea what it was. The second time it happened was months later and wasn’t as bad. I’m not the type to run to the hills when something like that happens on occasion, so we still use the diapers and are very pleased.

We were extremely please with the Pampers Swaddlers until the formula was changed and the dry max was added. The girls’ skin reacted poorly to the new formulation. So the hunt was on for a replacement. The Baby Dry does not have the new formulation… as long as it is not changed we will continue to use the baby dry!!!. The diapers are roomy and fit well and there have been no leak incidents. We long for the day that dry max goes away!!!!!!!!!!
